Pasay, SM Mall of Asia offer jobs to residents

The Pasay City government in coordination with the SM Mall of Asia Hypermarket is offering job opportunities to city residents affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, according to a report by Manila Bulletin.

Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano said the city’s Public Employment Service Office (PESO) announced that the SM Mall of Asia Hypermarket is in need of 70 cashiers and 70 baggers, and priority for the job slots are Pasay residents.

She said the job offer will be a big help for those affected by the pandemic.

The mayor said generating more jobs for the residents is also part of her HELP program which stands for H – health and housing, E – education, economic growth and environment, L- livelihood and lifestyle, and P- peace and order, palengke (market) and pamilya (family).
