Sara Dutere leads the turnover of gov't vehicles

Davao City Mayor Inday Sara Duterte led the blessing and turn-over of government vehicles at the Davao City Hall, Monday afternoon.

The Davao City Sports Bus is a 30-seater Hino bus, which will transport Davao City sports delegates during competitions. It’s acquisition was made possible through the cash incentive received by the Davao City for placing 4th in the 2018 Philippine National Games.

Meanwhile, Davao City Police Office (DCPO) received one (1) unit H350 Hyundai Van to transport Explosive Ordnance Division’s (EOD) protective gears and critical equipment, including DCPO EOD ICOR Robot DavaoBot. It has a command and control space with built-in ramp for easy deployment of DavaoBot.

Bob, the K9 Narcotics Detection Dog (NDD) was also introduced during the ceremony. Bob was trained to detect Shabu, Marijuana, Ecstacy, Coccaine, Heroine, and Phencyclidine (PCP) also known as Angel Dust.

Trikebayan E-Trikes were received by Mayor Sara Duterte from MOVEHer, a women-led movement by the Guevara Foundation. The donation is also in partnership of EV Wealth Inc.

The four (4) units of E-Trikes will benefit women’s group of Paquibato District. MOVEHer coalition seeks to encourage the transport sector in the Philippines to triumph women empowerment and gender equality.

Present during the turn-over ceremony were Fr. Emmanuel Gonzaga, City Sports and Development Office chief Mr. Michael Denton Aportadera, DCPO chief PCol Kirby John Kraft, Guevara Foundation Trustee Ms. Regine Guevra, Atty. Margarita Ignacia Nograles, Integrated Gended and Development Office (IGDD) Officer-in-Charge Ms. Lorna Mandin and Peace 911 focal person Ms. Mary Aileen Mabanding.
