DILG acknowledges Antipolo's e-Palengke, e-Botika

Nagdala ng karangalan sa lungsod ng Antipolo ang mga programang e-Palengke at e-Botika nang makamit nito ang 2nd Place ng Sagisag ng Pag-Asa Award mula sa Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) sa ginanap na virtual awarding ceremony noong Abril 16, 2021. Itinuring ng DILG na COVID-19 Response Best Practices sa buong bansa ang e-Palengke at e-Botika para labanan ang hirap na dulot ng pandemya. Pinasalamatan ni Mayor Andeng Ynares ang mga taong naglaan ng kanilang oras at pagod para sa ikatatagumpay ng mga nabanggit na programa.

“Ang e-Palengke at e-Botika natin ay naging posible at epektibo sa pagtutulungan ng mga iba’t-ibang opisina mula sa Pamahalaang Lungsod at private sector. Dahil po sa magandang koordinasyon natin ay marami po tayong natulungang mga kababayan na nawalan ng trabaho at mga hindi makalabas ng bahay noong panahon ng ECQ,” sabi ni Mayor Ynares.

Naging matagumpay ang mga nabanggit na e-Services sa pakikipagtulungan ng mga tenants ng City Mall of Antipolo (CMA) Public Market para sa e-Palengke at ng Mercury Drug para naman sa programang e-Botika. Dahil bawal lumabas ang mga taong noong community lockdown, ang mga nasabing e-Services ang naging instrumento upang mabili nila ang kanilang mga essentials katulad ng mga pagkain at mga gamot. Walang bayad ang delivery fees nito dahil sagot na ito ng pamahalaang lokal. Isa rin ang e-Palengke sa mga naging programa ng Antipolo LGU para mabigyan ng trabaho ang mga tricycle driver at mga nagtitinda sa CMA na nawalan ng pagkakakitaan dahil sa ECQ.

Isa rin ito sa mga naging aksyon ng pamahalaang lokal upang isulong ang social distancing at ang minimum public health standards para mapigilan ang pagkalat ng COVID-19 sa komunidad.

Naitampok din ang e-Palengke at e-Botika sa Angat LGU ng DILG noong nakaraang taon bilang pagkilala sa mga naging inobasyon ng Antipolo LGU sa pagbibigay ng serbisyo sa mga mamamayan sa panahon ng pandemya.
