Angono adjusts business permit renewal deadline
The Angono Municipal Government has extended the deadline for the payment of business permits to Feb. 15, according to a report by Philippine News Agency.
In an announcement made through her Facebook page, Angono Mayor Jeri Mae Calderon said the last day of securing the renewal of business permits in the municipality has been moved from Jan. 31 to Feb. 15.
Calderon said the extension of the deadline for the renewal of permits was moved after the Sangguniang Bayan, in a resolution, approved the extension to give business owners more time to settle their obligations with the local government.
The mayor said the municipal government has given the business owners the leeway to pay their business taxes up to Feb. 15 since most of the establishments, big or small, have been badly affected by the Covid-19 pandemic for more than two years.
She also encouraged the business owners to settle their business tax obligations at the municipal government’s Business One-Stop Shop (BOSS) facility as the process of registration and renewal of business permits has been reduced from several hours to just about an hour.
