Angeles City distributes Internet cards
In its continuing efforts to provide educational assistance during the pandemic, Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin, Jr. on April 28, 2021 turned over 1,985 internet cards to Sto. Domingo Integrated School.
The said internet cards will be used exclusive for the digital education of the school’s Grades 4 to 12 students. Each internet card can be used for a maximum of 3 years, allowing students to have a better and more stable internet access.
It can be recalled that a total of 700 access points were installed city-wide for free WIFI connection, 200 of which were paid for by the city government for P20 million, while the other 500 are being installed for free.
