Caloocan City Mayor Dale Gonzalo “Along” Malapitan has anounced that the city will allot 10 mobile patrol vehicles for the Caloocan City Police Station (CCPS) which the cops can use for their different operations, according to a report by Manila Bulletin.

Malapitan announced this during the city’s regular Peace and Order Council (POC) meeting on Tuesday, January 17. The members of the council reported their various accomplishments for the year 2022 during the meeting.

Malapitan commended the city police for their hardwork as they successfully lowered the crime index of the city to up to 5.49 percent as well as for their initiative in giving “baon” or lunch money to students who were referred to them by pastors.

Col. Ruben Lacuesta, CCPS chief, thanked Malapitan for his support for the police force and the community it serves.

He said the mobile patrols will help the city police as it continues to provide the community with excellent and reliable service.

Malapitan called for the cooperation of the POC members to perform their best for a more peaceful and safer Caloocan City.

Your city government is always ready to find ways to serve all your needs and we will strive to render better service to our people),” he said.
