Caloocan City, [Date] - Caloocan City has once again demonstrated its commitment to providing employment opportunities for its residents by organizing the 10th Mega Job Fair. This event, conducted in collaboration with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) at SM Grand Central, offered more than 3700 job openings to local job seekers.
Mayor Dale Gonzalo "Along" Malapitan commended the relentless efforts of the city's Public Employment Service Office (PESO) in facilitating this job fair. He emphasized that this marks the 10th iteration of the event, highlighting the city's unwavering dedication to supporting its residents in their pursuit of meaningful employment.
"The city government continues to explore avenues to bring opportunities to the people of Caloocan. In my short time as your mayor, we have already organized the Mega Job Fair ten times, thanks to the dedicated efforts of PESO and our partners," Mayor Along stated.
The Mayor also emphasized that the city's commitment to its residents' livelihood does not end with job fairs. Caloocan offers various programs to promote progressive and inclusive sources of income for its constituents.
"While the job fair is a significant program, we understand that not all Caloocan residents can apply for the jobs being offered," the Mayor acknowledged. "That's why our city government continually explores other livelihood programs tailored to the diverse needs of our fellow citizens. We provide free skills training along with livelihood programs designed for solo parents, senior citizens, and persons with disabilities (PWDs)," he added.
The Mega Job Fair represents just one facet of Caloocan's holistic approach to improving the quality of life for its residents, ultimately contributing to the city's growth and prosperity.
