Valenzuela approves cultural development plan

The Valenzuela City Local Culture and Arts Council (LCAC) had held a meeting to discuss and approve the city’s 2020 Annual Cultural Development Plan.

Three major programs in the plan were discussed, namely Cultural Promotion and Education, Art Development, and Heritage Conservation.

The usual commemorative events held for historical persons and places in the city, such as Dr. Pio Valenzuela and its transition from Polo, a small town in Bulacan, to the modern city that it is today, fall under the Cultural Promotion and Education program.
