On July 12, 2019, traffic enforcers Christopher Sañosa and Vergel Barrun assisted a constituent who was robbed along Maysan Road. Sañosa and Barrun pursued and eventually caught the suspect who tried to snatch the cellphone of the victim.

On July 19, 2019, pedestrian enforcers Aries Ricamara and Norman San Pedro apprehended 2 bicycle thieves in Valenzuela City People’s Park and NLEX Segment 9 in front of Philippine National Bank (PNB) after a constituent asked for their assistance. The suspects were immediately turned over to Valenzuela City Police Station according to TMO.

On September 4, 2019, traffic enforcer Mark Daniel Farmer, while stationed in Padrigal Street in front of Valenzuela Medical Center, noticed two motorcycles illegally parked on the road. When he was about to issue violation tickets, the drivers tried to escape but Farmer immediately stopped the motorcycle by pulling off the key and turning off the engine. TMO reported that one of the violators and his companions assaulted Farmer. Farmer managed to call for backup enforcers and policemen that led to the arrest of the violators who were later charged for slight physical injuries and direct assault.

Mayor REX said that the officers’ actions showed their worthiness as members and employees of the Traffic Management Division and the City Government of Valenzuela.

“You have acted, performed and served the public with the highest and excelled tradition of government public service, traits that deserve to be emulated and copied by fellow public servants,” Mayor REX said.
