Aaron Black, son of retired Philippine Basketball Association player and coach Norman Black, is one of the next generation players raring to get action in the coming season of Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League for the Quezon City Capitals.

At present, Black is training in the United States and will come home before June.

Black said he was determined to become the latest second generation to play in the fastest growing regional amateur basketball league.

“MPBL is very competitive and I feel like it’s a good stepping stone along with the D-League to prepare and get ready for the PBA,” Black said.
