The Quezon City Task Force Streetlights are relocating the lampposts along Sto. Domingo and Maria Clara Streets in Quezon City for blocking the roads.

A worker from the Quezon City Task Force Streetlights uses a jackhammer to break ground for a new site for a lamppost that will be relocated for obstructing the roads along the streets of Sto. Domingo and Maria Clara.

The lampposts were left unattended by contractors of road widening and drainage improvement projects and were posing hazard to motorists. These will be removed from the roads once the concrete pedestals are installed in the sidewalks.

The relocation of lampposts is part of the city's response to the directive of the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) to Metro Manila mayors to clear streets and sidewalks of obstruction within 60 days.
