Quezon City reports 21,211 vaccinated individuals
A total of 21,211 individuals have been vaccinated against the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in Quezon City, the local government said on April 1, according to a report by Manila Bulletin.
Of the figure, 1,100 were workers from the Quezon City General Hospital, while 6,815 were from Level 1 and Level 2 public and private hospitals.
The local government added that 2,723 frontline workers from other sectors received the jab in District 1; 1,715 in District 2; 2,590 in District 3; 2,918 in District 4; 1,643 in District 5; and 1,707 in District 6.

Meanwhile, vaccination activities of frontline health workers, senior citizens, and those with comorbidities will be suspended starting Maundy Thursday (April 1) until Black Saturday (April 3) in observance of the Holy Week.
As of 8 a.m. on April 1, Quezon City has recorded 9,766 active COVID-19 cases. The death toll stands at 902 while the number of recoveries is at 37,448.
