QC reorganizes General Services Department
The Quezon City Council recently passed an ordinance calling for the reorganization of the QC General Services Department.
Introduced by Councilor Roderick Paulate, City Ordinance 2832-2019 addresses the need to reorganize the department for it to continue efficiently and effectively performing its functions.
The reorganized department has eight divisions: The Administrative Division, Central Warehouse Management Division, Records Management and Control Division, Fixed Assets Management and Control Division, Streetlights Management and Services Division, Movable Property Management and Control Division, Buildings and Grounds Management Division, and the Motor Pool Division.
The CGSD now has a total of 411 plantilla positions, where 228 are existing positions and 183 are newly created items.
