Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte reiterated the importance of receiving the Covid-19 vaccines, regardless of its brand amid the highly transmissible Delta variant.

In an earlier interview, Belmonte said vaccine does not guarantee that a person will no longer get infected with Covid-19, but in case a vaccinated person contracts the disease, it will not be as severe as those with unvaccinated individuals.

Belmonte attributed the success of the city’s QCProtekTODO Vaccination Program to its healthcare workers, staff and volunteers.

Individuals who wish to schedule their Covid-19 vaccination may register via the QC Vax Easy platform https://qceservices.quezoncity.gov.ph/qcvaxeasy.

Updates and announcements from the QC government on its vaccination program may be obtained via their Facebook page or through the website https://qcprotektodo.ph.
