Novaliches market cleared of obstructions
The Quezon City Department of Public Order and Safety (DPOS) with Task Force Disiplina of the Office of the City Mayor, Task Force Control Prevention and Removal of all Illegal Structures and Squatting (TF -COPRISS), and Environmental Protection and Waste Management Department (EPWMD) conducted joint-clearing operations at Susano Market in Barangay Novaliches Proper.
The team dismantled extended canopies that obstructed the sidewalks and confiscated a video karera gambling machine.
A notice of violation was also given to establishment owners and were asked to comply with the law within seven days.
The clearing operations is in line with the city's compliance to the President Rodrigo Duterte's directive to clear the roads and sidewalks within 60 days.
