"The report was that Crisologo arrived and started to curse at and threaten to sue the police officers," Esquivel said.
In a video posted by former Quezon City Rep. Michael Defensor, however, Crisologo said police entered a house in Barangay Bahay Toro without a warrant.
"What happened was training for poll watchers. We were handing out paraphernalia for the watchers. The police entered the house without a search warrant. So there was confusion," Crisologo said in the video posted on Defensor's Facebook page.
Crisologo noted that the police were not in uniform and that some of them were in slippers.
In a post on his campaign Facebook page, Crisologo said he was taken to Camp Karingal, headquarters of the QCPD, with his son, Edrix.
"We were not read our Miranda rights, nor were we informed of why we were arrested," Crisologo said.
