Quezon City footbridges now have bike ramps

The Quezon Memorial Circle underpass and 40 footbridges in Quezon City now have bike ramps to provider bicycle riders easier access to opposite roads.

The local government said the bike ramps would make cycling safer and more convenient for riders and make Quezon City a “bike-friendly city.”

Cyclists are encourage to use the footbridges as a safe way to cross the roads to get to the bike lanes.


The city government expects more resients to ride bicycles for alternative transportation with the installation of bike ramps.

“The city government encourages QCitizens to ride bicycles and use alternative transportation because besides being eco-friendly and affordable, it improves health as exercise,” the QC government said in a Facebook post.

The Quezon Memorial Circle is a 27-hectare park located inside a large traffic circle in the city, where people can enjoy fitness activities and recreation.
