28 PNP personnel catch Covid-19

The Philippine National Police reported 28 news cases of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) among its employees, bringing the total to 6,498, according to a report by GMA News.

Latest data from the PNP showed that total recoveries also rose to 5,728 after 62 more personnel recovered from the illness.

The death toll, meanwhile, remained at 20.

So far, there are 750 active COVID-19 cases within the PNP.

Nationwide, cases of COVID-19 leapt to 344,713 including 293,383 recoveries and 6,372 deaths.
