Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto vowed to complete the repavement of Kenneth Avenue next year.

The pothole-filled street came to Sotto’s attention when he roamed around Barangays Nagpayong and Pinagbuhatan during the weekend.

Seeing the street’s condition, Sotto remarked in a Facebook post: “Work here is extra challenging because of land issues. One main road has been left uneven for YEARS.”

The mayor, however, said there’s now “real progress” as he and Romulo have agreed to finish Kenneth Avenue’s construction by 2020.
