Mayor Vico Sotto has called on doctors and nurses who want to work in Pasig, as their hospitals near saturation point.

In his Twitter account, the Pasig City mayor expressed gratitude to medical frontliners for their service amid the rising number of cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in the country.

“I’m thankful & proud of our doctors. Walang reklamo kahit sobrang pagod na,” Sotto wrote.

However, the mayor said that with the city hospitals close to saturation point, “WE NEED MORE HUMAN RESOURCES,” he said.

Sotto gave an email address: pasigcovidTF@gmail.com for doctors or nurses who would want to work in Pasig, either full-time or part-time.

As of posting, the Department of Health (DOH) has recorded 1,418 individuals who have tested positive for COVID-19 in the country.
