Pasig City said daycare centers in the city are still accepting enrollees until Sept. 30, as it updates requirements for enrollment.

Mayor Vico Sotto said interested parents or guardians who wish to enroll their kids in the nearest daycare centers should submit a photocopy of the child's birth certificate and proof of residency.

Residents can submit the requirements in the nearest daycare centers in their area and look for the teacher in charge of the enrollment.

"Kung wala pang proof of residency sa kasalukuyan, maaari naman itong 'to follow' ngunit kailangang mai-submit ang photocopy ng Birth Certificate ng bata (If the proof of residency is not yet available, it can be requested as 'to follow' but the photocopy of the child's birth certificate must be submitted)," Sotto said.

Sotto clarified that the guardian's voter's registration or cedula is not required anymore.

Meanwhile, the San Juan City government urged the residents with pre-schooler children to register their kids to the city's child development center.

Mayor Francis Zamora said the registration for the school year 2020-2021 will be available for children aging three years old to four years and 11 months old.

Residents may visit their nearest barangay office to get registration forms or may scan the quick response (QR) code dedicated to the child development center, which is posted on the city's official Facebook page.

The registration is also available online through the link: https://forms.gle/fp7whAfQ6CPqHuvy7.

The registration period is from Sept. 28 to Oct. 2 only.

Registrants will be contacted by the city social welfare and development for further steps on processing.
