Namahagi ng mga infrared forehead thermometers ang Pamahalaang Lungsod ng Pasig sa mga pampublikong paaralan ng lungsod. 

Pinangunahan ni Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto ang pamamahagi ng mga infrared forehead thermometers Linggo ng gabi, sa lahat ng public schools sa lungsod, mula elementarya, sekondarya, pati na rin sa mga city colleges.   

Ayon kay Bryant Wong, hepe ng Pasig City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (DRRMO), ang pamamahagi ng mga infrared thermometers ay isang hakbang ng lungsod upang mabantayan ang kalusugan ng mga mag-aaral dahil na rin sa umiiral na Novel Corona Virus o nCoV.

Idinagdag pa ni Wong na may mga infrared forehead thermometers na ibinahagi rin sa city hall at sa iba pang government buildings sa lungsod.

Samantala, binisita rin ni Mayor Vico Sotto nitong Linggo ng hapon ang Pasig City General Hospital (PCGH). Sinabi ni Mayor Vico na walang kaso ng nCoV sa lungsod ngunit naghahanda pa rin sila. 

May quarantine tent na inihanda sa PCGH para sa mga may sintomas ng sakit. Idinagdag pa ng alkalde na ipinapatupad din ng mga healthcare professionals sa ER ang "Triage Algorithm of Patients with Suspected nCoV Infection," na nirerekomenda ng Philippine Society for Microbiology and Infectious Diseases at Department of Health.  

Nanawagan din si Mayor Vico sa mga taga Pasig na iwasang mag panic bagkus ay mag-ingat sa pamamagitan ng palagiang paghugas ng kamay at kung maaari ay dumistansya sa mga tao na may ubo, sipon at iba pang sintomas.
