4 POGO employees nabbed for illegal drugs
The National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) announced the arrest of four employees of Philippine offshore gaming operators (POGOs) for alleged illegal drug trade in Pasay City.
NCRPO director Maj. Gen. Debold Sinas said the two separate operations were launched after intelligence reports indicated ongoing illegal drug activities of some employees of POGOs who live in Pasay City.
The arrested suspects were identified as Chu Xiao Bo, 27; Han Xiadong, 45; Chen Kai Yang, 25; a POGO employee; and, Wu Song, 18.
“They are considered as high value target as per the parameters of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA),” said Sinas.
Among the items seized from the suspects were: shabu sachets, weighing scale, cash and mobile phones.
Sinas said all the seized evidence will be used in the filing of charges against the suspects.
