Pasay City Hall employees can expect to receive their 13th month pay and salaries earlier.

Pasay City Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano assured more than 3,000 city hall employees that they will receive their salaries and their 13th month pay sooner than usual.

Calixto-Rubiano said she has already instructed City Treasurer Noli Leycano to release the funds.

“Our city hall employees are our frontliners in giving basic services to the people, and during this state of calamity, the salaries would help them tide over this crisis,” Mayor Emi said.

According to the mayor, employees should submit their daily time records to expedite the release of the salaries.

The release of the salaries is in line with President Duterte’s call for local government units to give the 13th month pay of their workers this early.
