Pasay mayor goes on self-quarantine
Pasay City Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano placed herself under self-quarantine after being exposed to a person who became positive for Covid-19.
“I am just following the standard protocol kaya po nagdesisyon ako na magself-quarantine (that is why I decided to undergo self-quarantine),” Calixto-Rubiano said in a video posted on her Facebook page.
According to the mayor, she received a phone call the previous night from a person she was exposed to who underwent a swab test and turned out positive for COVID-19.

She added that she did the self-quarantine also for the welfare of the people around her.
The mayor reminded the citizens of Pasay that she continues to work from home and that the operations of the city hall will not be halted including medical services, the distribution of food packs and the disinfection of the city.
Residents were also told to stay at home and observe proper hand washing, waste disposal, and social distancing for those who possess a quarantine pass when going out of their homes.
She said that her office remains open for suggestions or any additional help that citizens may need.
