Pasay deploys rolling stores to barangays
Pasay City deployed “rolling stores” on Tuesday to provide residents alternative outlets from where they could purchase food products and other essential items at affordable prices.
This project, in partnership with the Department of Agriculture, aims to further help families affected by the enhanced community quarantine imposed due to COVID-19.
Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano visited one of the initial beneficiary-barangays, Brgy. 13 along F.B. Harrision Street, where she was joined by DA Assistant Secretary Kristine Evangelista.

Today’s initial routes of the rolling stores were Barangay 141 in Zone 15 (Cabrera Street near San Roque Parish), Barangay 154 in Zone 16 (M. Francisco cor. Edang Streets) and Barangay 13 in Zone 4 (along F.B. Harrison Street in front of Meralco).
The project will utilize jeepneys that can access small barangay roads. The rolling stores will be available from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
The Pasay LGU will announce daily schedules of the rolling stores for the different barangays in the city.
