Parañaque City is lifting the liquor ban effective June 1, according to Mayor Edwin Olivarez.

Under Executive Order (EO) No. 2020-041, Olivarez ordered the lifting of the suspension of permit to sell liquor starting Monday, when Metro Manila will be placed under the less strict general community quarantine from the current modified enhanced community quarantine.

Selling of alcoholic drinks and beverages however will only be allowed during the operating hours of establishments.

Restaurants, bars and other establishments will not be allowed to server liquor.

Liquor may only be consumed inside residences, as drinking outside the house and in public places is not allowed.

Those found violating the guidelines in the EO will face penalties and sanctions.
