Parañaque closes legislative building
Parañaque City Mayor Edwin Olivarez said the legislative building and a few other offices are temporarily closed for disinfection.
The other offices temporarily closed are the offices of the judiciary and other national government agencies, all offices of Sangguniang Panglungsod, Treasurer's Office and the Business Permits and Licensing Office.
These offices will be closed from Monday, July 20, to Wednesday, July 22.
Olivarez said the temporary closure will allow personnel to conduct containment and disinfection activities.
As of Saturday, July 18, Parañaque City has recorded 1,944 confirmed COVID-19 cases. Recoveries totalled 1,017 while the death toll is at 72. Active cases numbered 855.
