Navotas’ most wanted captured
Navotas Mayor Toby Tiangco lauded members of the local police for successfully capturing the city’s most wanted person.
Tiangco handed out certificates of commendation to acting police chief Col. Rolando Balasbas and 18 other police personnel for the arrest of Benjie Balondo on June 23 in Barangay North Bay Boulevard South-Dagat-dagatan.
Balondo is facing charges of robbery with homicide.
“We are grateful that the top criminal in our city has been brought to justice. I urge Navoteños to report any criminal or illegal activities and help us catch the perpetrators,” Tiangco said.
“Only when we work together can we ensure the safety and security of our people,” he added.
The city government has a Text JohnRey or Toby (JRT) messaging facility that residents may use to send feedback, reports, or complaints.
Text JRT was established in 2003 and was Tiangco’s brainchild when he first served as Navotas mayor.
