Navotas City’s 24 public schools will soon have closed-circuit television systems to ensure the security of students and faculty.

The city government received 330 CCTV cameras and 49 sets of CCTV recorders from Faire Technologies, Inc., following the signing of a deed of donation.

Navotas Mayor John Rey Tiangco and Faire Tech vice president for operations Norvin Duke Co served as signatories to the agreement.

Acting Schools Division Superintendent Meliton Zurbano and Faire Tech’s Aris Abella and Bryan Adam Sy stood as witnesses.

Tiangco expressed his gratitude for Faire Tech’s donation, noting that the CCTVs would help the city provide a safe learning environment to the Navoteño youth.

Also present in the signing were public school principals and other officials.
