Muntinlupa promotes healthy snacks

Mayor Jaime Fresnedi graced the kick-off activity of Muntinlupa City Road to Wellness Program on July 2.

Fresnedi promoted the healthy snacks offered as the event, which included malunggay kutsinta (steamed rice cake made with malunggay leaves).

The Road to Wellness Program is in line with the celebration of National Nutrition Month.

Present at the launch of the program were officials from the National Nutrition Council, the Muntinlupa Health Office, and sports company Decathlon.

Muntinlupa City government employees also attended the program and availed themselves of services, which included Nutrition Assessment, Healthy Diet and Physical Activity, and Demonstration of Exercises, among others.

Fresnedi pledged to prioritize programs on health and wellness as part of his Nine-Point Program of Governance in the next three years.
