Muntinlupa implements one-way traffic scheme at West Service Road

account_balanceMuntinlupa chat_bubble_outline0 Comments

Muntinlupa City began implementing a one-way traffic scheme at a portion of West Service Road to give way for the Skyway extension project.

According to a report from GMA News, only southbound motorists are allowed to use the portion of the service road, and northbound motorists should take the East Service Road going to Sucat.

The one-way traffic starts from Alabang Hills toward Alabang-Zapote Road to be implemented until May 2020.

Trucks and buses have been prohibited to use the Skyway because they are too heavy for the temporary steel ramp exit going to Alabang.

The trucks and buses may use the Skyway at-grade or the ground level portion of the highway.

The Skyway extension project stage 3 is scheduled to be done this year, that will connect North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) and help cut the travel time between Metro Manila and Clark International Airport.
