69-year-old grandmother graduates from Muntinlupa College
Against all odds, a 69 y/o grandma makes it in the Class of 2020 of Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Muntinlupa with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education major in Special Education. Violeta Mendoza proudly announced her achievement on Facebook and thanked her family for their support.
“I know I may not be able to work anymore because of my age but at least I made my dream come true,” Mendoza posted in Facebook.
She is also a scholar of the local government of Muntinlupa under the Iskolar ng Bayan program. Mayor Jaime Fresnedi lauded Mendoza’s hard work and perseverance and hoped that city residents will look at her as an inspiration to overcome challenges in life.
