113 Muntinlupa seniors receive anti-flu vaccines
At least 113 senior citizens from Villa Carolina 1, Barangay Tunasan received anti-flu and anti-pneumonia vaccine shots on September 15 to boost their immune system amid the pandemic.
The City Health Office, thru Office of Senior Citizens Affairs, facilitate weekly vaccination for residents aged 60 years old and above from different barangays as part of the local COVID-19 response efforts.
Recipients were given schedules by their Barangay Senior Presidents to strictly observe physical distancing and other minimum health standards.
Mayor Jaime Fresnedi says the local government of Muntinlupa targets to cover all barangays for the vaccination program.
As of September 15, Muntinlupa City has 3,904 confirmed cases with 3,112 recoveries, 665 active cases, 127 reported deaths, 529 suspect cases, and 614 probable cases.
