Muntinlupa wins Red Orchid Award
For the second consecutive year, the Department of Health (DOH) confers the Red Orchid Award to the city government of Muntinlupa in recognition of its outstanding initiatives against tobacco use.
Muntinlupa City Health Office executives received the citation during an awarding ceremony last October 10 at Manila Grand Opera Hotel, Sta. Cruz, Manila City.
The Ospital ng Muntinlupa was also recognized as a Red Orchid Awardee. Muntinlupa City is one of the pioneering LGU to implement smoking-ban through an ordinance in the NCR.
