Muntinlupa recognized as child-friendly city
The Regional Committee for Welfare of Children - NCR hailed Muntinlupa as a Child-Friendly City during the awarding ceremony of the Seal of Child-Friendly Local Governance last November 21 at Sofitel Philippine Plaza Manila.
The local government of Muntinlupa, through the leadership of Mayor Jaime Fresnedi, was lauded for its outstanding programs for the protection of children’s rights on survival, development, protection, and participation.
Receiving the award were Muntinlupa Gender and Development program director Trina Biazon, Social Service Department chief Analyn Mercado, Public Employment Service Officer Glenda Aniñon, Public Information Officer Tez Navarro, City Health Officer Dra. Teresa Tuliao, Management Information System Officer Nancy Torero, Youth Affairs and Sports Development Officer Cynthia Viacrusis, Schools Division Office Superintendent Dr. Dominico Idanan, and Internat Auditor Noel Morales.
