Muntinlupa LGU ties up with Latter-day Saints to protect children

The Muntinlupa City government is collaborating with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Charities for the implementation of the city’s child protection programs.

Muntinlupa Mayor Jaime Fresnedi met with Ray and Carole Roberts, representatives of the LDS Charities, in a conference of the Muntinlupa City Local Council for the Protection of Children on May 4 at city hall.

During the meeting, LDS Charities vowed to extend assistance for the sustainability of the local government’s projects.

Recently, the Department of the Interior and Local Governments announced that Muntinlupa City was among the National Capital Region’s local government units that passed the 2018 Child-Friendly Local Governance Audit.

The CFLGA is an audit that measures LGU performance in the delivery of services that promote the welfare of children.
