The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) has designated the stops along the EDSA Busway.

MMDA Assistant Secretary Celine Piolago said the 190 buses in the EDSA Busway project shall temporarily be using the bus stops located curbside to pick up and/or unload passengers from Monumento to Quezon Avenue, namely at Bagong Barrio, LRT Balintawak, Kaingin Road and LRT Muñoz Station, MRT North Avenue Station (southbound, loading only and northbound, unloading only) and MRT Quezon Avenue Station (southbound, loading only, and northbound, unloading only).

Buses will shift to the median lanes from Quezon Avenue and shall be allowed to load and unload passengers on the median bus stops at Main Avenue, Santolan, Ortigas and Guadalupe.

The other 90 buses operating under the MRT-3 Bus Augmentation Program shall likewise be allowed to load and unload on the same median bus stops.

Upon exiting Estrella, buses will be allowed to pick up and/or unload passengers at the following curbside stops from Buendia to the PITX: Buendia/Ayala (southbound, unloading only, and northbound, loading and unloading), Magallanes/Evangelista/Malibay, Taft Avenue (southbound, unloading only, and northbound, loading only), Roxas Boulevard, Macapagal Avenue, SM Mall of Asia and PITX.

The MMDA official admitted all are still in the adjustment period, stressing that day by day, commuters can expect the situation to get better.

“Everybody is in the adjustment period, but tomorrow will be better. We learn from the issues we encounter today, as well as from public feedback,” Piolago said.

She said, at the moment, there are four median bus stop that would be used as loading and unloading areas, since all are based on the volume of passengers. However, she said commuters are assured of safety at all bus stops.
