MMDA decides to keep EDSA-Gen Tinio U-turn slot open
The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) would keep the EDSA-General Tinio U-turn slot open until the construction of the elevated busway was completed, according to a report by GMA News.
Interviewed on Super Radyo dzBB on Sunday, MMDA Traffic Engineering Center director Noemi Recio said that Caloocan City Mayor Oscar Malapitan had asked MMDA Chairperson Benhur Abalos to keep the U-turn slot open.
“Sabi ni Chairman, itong U-turn na 'to will remain open hanggang sa maitayo 'yung ating proposal na elevated busway,” she said.
