The Department of Public Works and Highways is conducting reblocking activities at portions of Epifanio de los Santos Avenue (Edsa) and Circumferential Road 5 (C-5) until the morning of Election Day, May 13.

DPWH-National Capital Region director Ador G. Canlas said that weekend road works at Edsa would specifically cover the southbound direction from before Aurora Boulevard, second lane from the sidewalk, and from before Monte de Piedad, third lane from the sidewalk; and the northbound direction fronting Baliwag Transit to New York Street, first and second lanes from the sidewalk.

The northbound direction of C-5 Road fronting SM Aura, first lane from the sidewalk, is also undergoing road rehabilitation.

Motorists are advised to take alternate routes to avoid heavy traffic in the areas affected by the road reblocking activities.
