Manila opens new garden
Manila on Sunday opened a new garden to the public, according to a report by GMA News.
An old parking and dump space for heavy vehicle equipment has become a hidden garden where locals can stroll and take a breather.
Fronting the Andres Bonifacio Shrine, the secret garden is dubbed "The Hidden Garden in Lawton" since it is adjacent to the Lacson underpass.
Tourists and guests coming from Intramuros can safely walk around the open garden space and should they need a place to rest, a coffee shop serving homegrown local coffee is located inside the garden.
