Manila Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso led the launch and lighting ceremony of the sports complex.
It now has a clean swimming pool, a small playground, and numerous Capiz lights hanging on the trees to illuminate the area at night.
Domagoso said they are continuously rehabilitating the capital city’s parks and sports facilities to create more open, green spaces in Manila.
This is part of our advocacy to create many open green spaces and make the City of Manila brighter),” he said in a Facebook post.
The renovations that we are doing is our small gift to the future generation of Manileños),” he added.
