NCRPO deploys more enforcers amid heightened community quarantine
In line with the increasing number of CoViD 19 affected communities in the Metro, different government units in NCR initiated effort to conduct target group testing of citizens in their locality.
Towards this end, Mandaluyong City enacted EO 13 on April 10, 2020 placing certain areas in Barangay Addition Hills under Heightened Community Quarantine from 12:01am of May 7 up to 11:59 pm of May 13, 2020.
In aid of this endeavor, the Mandaluyong City Police Station drafted an operational plan which aims to ensure that the established QCPs will achieve the required security measures to be implemented in areas declared to be under total lockdown.

Part of the strategic plan involves the deployment of 194 personnel composed of Mandaluyong Police Officers, DMFB-EPD personnel, PNP SAF, Army Reservist 48 representatives from Bantay Bayan.
They will man the 8 BQCPs and 16 Alley Control Points in the area to facilitate alley blocking, provide additional manpower to roving teams and investigation teams and seal-off the entry and exit points therein to enable better situation management.
The lockdown period will allow the City Health Officials of Mandaluyong City to conduct target testing to around 3,000 barangay constituents which is extremely necessary considering that they already marked a total of 55 positive CoViD 19 cases.
NCRPO Chief Gen. Debold Sinas guaranteed full support of NCRPO to Local Government Units in aid of the Nation’s battle against the unseen.
“NCRPO in partnership with our counterparts from other concerned agencies, pledges to give our best effort to support the endeavor of our LGUs and the National Government in this fight against the unseen. Guaranteed that we will not lax in our effort to secure the Metro from all forms of criminality, illegal drugs and all other threats brought by this health crisis,” said Gen. Debold Sinas.
