Mandaluyong signs data sharing deal on contact tracing
The local government unit (LGU) of Mandaluyong City on Tuesday (February 23) forged a data sharing agreement with its neighboring cities to further enhance their data collection and contact tracing system amid the COVID-19 pandemic, Mayor Menchie Abalos said in a report by Manila Bulletin.
Abalos signed a memorandum of agreement (MOA) wherein the city’s contact tracing application, MandaTrack, will be interconnected with Valenzuela’s ValTrace, Pasig’s PasigPass, and Antipolo’s Antipolo Bantay COVID-19 contact tracing solutions.
The MOA enables the said cities to share their contact tracing systems and requires the user to only download one QR code for the four cities, resulting in a more convenient and uniform contact tracing by the local governments.

Mandaluyong City requires people who will visit the city to download the said application as it is a requirement whenever they will enter public facilities and private establishments.
MandaTrack can be downloaded on this website: https://mandatrack.appcase.net/.
On February 5, the Mandaluyong LGU said over 22,000 of its residents have signed up in its online pre-registration program in preparation for the rollout of the COVID-19 vaccines in the city.
Mandaluyong City Health Officer Alex Sta. Maria said that a total of 22,302 residents have pre-registered online at https://mandaluyong.gov.ph/vaccine/ to receive free jabs.
The LGU has also launched “Ugnayan sa Barangay,” a program wherein the city mayor herself and the city’s health experts visit different barangays to urge residents to be vaccinated and to allay their fears and apprehensions in taking the jab.
