BJMP opens new Mandaluyong jail

The Jail Bureau inaugurated the New Mandaluyong City Jail located in Maysilo Circle, Barangay Plainview, Mandaluyong City on July 27, 2021.

The construction of this nine-storey facility with 24 detention cells tremendously reduced the congestion rate of the jail from 722% to -835% thus, achieving a zero-congestion rate.

The New Mandaluyong City Jail will now be the new home of 758 Male and 101 Female Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL), currently detained in Mandaluyong City Jail - Male and Female Dormitories.
