P200,000 reward money is waiting for anyone who could arrest or give the identification of the suspect behind the killing of a city police.

PSSgt. Orland Lucky Boy de Leon, 32, was peppered with bullets by a lone motorcycle-riding gunman at around 6:45 p.m. while he was on his way home on board his motorcycle along Araneta Ave., in Barangay Potrero, Malabon. He died on the spot.

De Leon, who became a member of the Malabon City Police in 2018, was assigned at the city Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU).

Bong Padua, chief public information officer, said that “Mayor Lenlen Oreta has offered the reward for the identification or capture of the killer.”

Joyce, de Leon’s live-in partner, said that the victim had no known enemies and was not receiving any death threats.

Probers are still getting closed-circuit television (CCTV) footages near the crime scene to identify the suspect and establish the motive behind de Leon’s killing.
