Makati confirms 14 COVID-19 cases
Makati City had 14 COVID-19 cases, two of which led to fatalities as of March 16.
Makati City Mayor Mar-len Abigail Binay said the information came from the Department of Health (DOH).
“As of this press conference, the total number of COVID-19-positive in Makati City is 14. Dalawa na ang namatay,” she said.
At least 52 Makati residents are considered persons under investigation (PUIs) and 34 are persons under monitoring (PUMs).
“Sisiguraduhin natin na sila ay under quarantine,” she said.
As of Sunday, there were 140 COVID-19 cases in the country, the DOH said.
The death toll due to COVID-19 in the country rose to 12 on Sunday night.
