Makati Mayor Abby Binay and Vice Mayor Monique Lagdameo manned the tourist information desk at Glorietta 2 on January 28 and entertained the inquiries of a Chinese tourist.

Photos at the My Makati Facebook page showed Binay and Lagdameo gamely answering the tourist’s concerns.

The desk, established by the city’s International Relations Department (IRD), aims to promote the city’s cultural heritage sites and provide lists of tourism-related activities in the city to local and foreign tourists.

Other city officials who attended the launch were Binay’s husband, Rep. Luis Campos, city councilors and barangay officials.
