Rain likely to prevail in Luzon

Luzon is expected to experience rain due to the tail-end of a cold front and the northeast monsoon, the weather bureau said in a report by Philippine News Agency.

Scattered rain showers and thunderstorms will be experienced over Quirino, Nueva Vizcaya, Aurora, Nueva Ecija, Bulacan, Rizal, Quezon, Batangas, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque, and Camarines provinces.

The rest of central Luzon will experience rains, while the Ilocos Region, the Cordillera Administrative Region and the rest of Cagayan Valley will have isolated light rains.

Due to localized thunderstorms, Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience isolated rain showers.

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) forecast moderate to strong winds, moderate to rough seas over Luzon and Eastern Visayas.

Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate with slight to moderate seas, PAGASA said.
