The government's Inter-Agency Task Force on COVID-19 response is now allowing a group of 10 people to visit cemeteries.

In a televised briefing, presidential spokesperson Harry Roque said it is up to the management of the cemeteries and memorial parks to decide on the number of groups that will be allowed to enter at any given time.

Minimum public health standards such as social distancing must also be observed, the Palace official added.

The government has banned large gatherings to stem the spread of COVID-19.

Earlier, the government allowed religious gatherings up to a maximum of 50% of the worship venue capacity in areas under modified general community quarantine. It also allowed dine-in establishments to resume operations at limited capacity.
